Copy of a military record for Carrillo, a 48-year-old 2nd Lieutenant in the company of the Presidio of Monterrey, Mexico, dated Dec. 1797. Lists ranks; regiments in which he served in Spanish California, including the Presidios of Loreto, San Diego, and Santa Barbara; time and length of enlistments; and personal characteristics. The document is signed by Captain Hermeneo. With the document is a carbon copy of a typed biographical note on Diego de Borica, colonial governor of Calif., 1794-1799.
